The event is curated and hosted by Orlando Giraldo, a Colombian-Canadian filmmaker and the founder of Magafin Productions. With a passion for cultural storytelling and independent cinema, Orlando has built a creative platform that bridges diverse voices and communities. His dedication to nurturing talent and creating meaningful artistic dialogue is at the heart of Toronto Film Social, making each gathering a space where stories are shared, collaborations are born, and community flourishes.

Amy Lee - Filmmaker
Amy Lee is a Canadian actor and artist from Toronto, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University. As an actor and artist, Amy does not limit herself to a particular medium; she enjoys exploring different personas. Amy is strongly pursuing an acting career in film, television, and the performing arts.
Connor McLellan Filmmaker
Based in Toronto, Connor McLellan is an emerging Canadian Director, Producer, and Writer. He has written and directed over four short films, two music videos and produced over ten short films.
Connor is currently a Showrunner on the web series “Everyone is Yapping”, a Toronto-based series highlighting emerging filmmaker
Annie Bio and Terry Mills - Filmmaker duo
Annie Bio and Terry Mills are independent filmmakers and founders of Biomills Productions, based in Toronto. They have recently begun developing a series of comedy films centered around the character Luvov, created by Annie Bio.
Their previous work includes the workplace comedy Pay Your Bill, and both have received multiple film awards for their contributions to independent cinema.
Myke Mazzei Singer/Songwriter
Myke Mazzei is a Canadian folk and pop singer-songwriter, indie music collaborator, and film composer based in Toronto. He is known for his work as a vocalist and guitarist with the band The Bad Apples and has released music both as a solo artist and in collaboration with others. His 2019 album One to the Road, produced with The Mod Villains, showcases his folk-rock style and is available on platforms like Qobuz.
ISABELLE WOODS MUSICIAN
Isabelle Woods is a multidisciplinary artist and musician based in Toronto, Canada, and a recent graduate of OCAD University. With a background in traditional realist painting, her visual art is deeply observational and introspective. Isabelle’s work explores the power of specificity and vulnerability—whether through lyrics or imagery—to create experiences that resonate on a personal level. She is also making waves in Toronto’s open mic scene, especially at the beloved Free Times Café.
Andrew Kerr
Andrew is from Toronto, and hosts the weekly open mic at the Free Times Cafe. In Fall 2023 he wandered in after finding the Free Times on Google, and has been hanging around ever since.
An Za Singer/ Songwriter
I'm An Za, singer/songwriter based in Toronto. Although I've been singing for a while, I only just recently started working on my own music in 2024 and will be releasing my first EP on Oct 26th!
